CiproDexa Ear & Eye

Composition

  • Ciprofloxacin
  • Dexamethasone

Indication

  • Treatment of dogs and cats and poultry for eye and ear treatment:
  • In case of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the eyes and ears caused by microorganisms susceptible to ciprofloxacin.
  • In case of allergic processes in the anterior part of the eye, complicated by bacterial infection.
  • For prevention and treatment of inflammatory phenomena of the eyes and ears in the postoperative period.

Contraindications

  • High individual sensitivity to the components of the drug.

Adverse Effects

  • Temporary stinging/burning sensation (common).
  • Corneal deposits (rare, with prolonged ciprofloxacin use).
  • Elevated intraocular pressure (with long-term dexamethasone use).

Precautions

  • Use with caution in pregnant animals.
  • The drug should be at room temperature when applied.

Route Of Administration & Dosage

  • The drug is instilled into the conjunctive sac or auditory canal with 1-2 drops 2-3 times daily.
  • The duration of treatment is usually 5-7 days. If necessary, the duration of therapy can be extended.
